Make My Day
10:30/9:30c TV Land
In this time of holiday cheer and goodwill, it's nice to see folks who really deserve a break get one. That's just what happens in this reality show's first-season finale, when an industrious New Jersey baker gets to play golf with Robert Schimmel, his favorite comedian, and Robert Vaughn from The Man from U.N.C.L.E. a beloved childhood show. And for the icing on the cake, he has a once-in-a-lifetime casino encounter with Richard Kiel, who played "Jaws" in several James Bond films. — Joe Friedrich
NBA Basketball
2:30/1:30c ABC
Celebrate a very Disney Christmas as the Celtics visit Orlando in the second of five NBA games strung end-to-end like blinking holiday lights on ABC and ESPN. The Magic's kingdom (Amway Arena, to be specific) wasn't so cheery for Boston last spring, when Orlando won two of three home games en route to a 4-3 Eastern Conference semifinals win that dethroned the 2008 NBA champs. Kevin Garnett missed that series due to injury, but his return didn't make a difference on Nov. 20, when big man Dwight Howard and the Magic validated their playoff triumph with an 83-78 victory in Beantown. — Roger Leister
Improv-Ice
3/2c NBC
Though it may not be a white Christmas for everyone, NBC is offering a glimpse of a winter wonderland with today's skating exhibition. Kristi Yamaguchi and Brian Boitano host the event, which also features a performance by the Goo Goo Dolls. The skaters taking the ice include Sasha Cohen, Kurt Browning, Evan Lysacek and Nancy Kerrigan. — Brie Hearn
The Hound of the Baskervilles
8/7c TCM
With Robert Downey Jr. now sleuthing around area movie theaters doing his impersonation of Sherlock Holmes, TCM offers a perfect introduction to that wizard of criminal deduction, played with incomparable panache by Basil Rathbone in his first of many appearances as Holmes. This compelling 1939 version of what is arguably the most famous tale in the Arthur Conan Doyle series stalks the mystery of a frighteningly large beast on a killing spree on the moors while dogging the heir to Baskerville Hall. — Ray Stackhouse
