2009 MTV Movie Awards

SNL funnyman Andy Samberg hosts the 19th annual bash celebrating the year's best in pop-culture movies. Teen megahit Twilight leads the pack with seven nominations, including Best Movie and Best Female Performance (Kristen Stewart). Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire follows with six nods. There are plenty of A-listers slated to be on hand to present the coveted Golden Popcorn statues, including Will Ferrell, Cameron Diaz, Denzel Washington, Jonah Hill, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Lil Wayne. And there's music, too, of course. Kings of Leon and Eminem are among those scheduled to perform. — Karen Andzejewicz
Into the Storm

Brendan Gleeson stars as British prime minister Winston Churchill in this intimate sequel to the superb 2002 docudrama The Gathering Storm. Told in revealing flashbacks as the pugnacious leader awaits the outcome of England's post-World War II elections in 1945, the 2009 film focuses on Churchill's unwavering efforts to combat Hitler's Germany, and the personal and political toll the war effort takes on him. Janet McTeer also stars as Churchill's outspoken and dedicated wife, Clementine. — Tim Holland
The Hills

Since her senior year of high school, MTV has documented Lauren Conrad's life on Laguna Beach and The Hills. Well, the time has come for the 23-year-old reality-TV starlet to say good-bye to the cameras, with tonight's Season 5 finale marking her final appearance on the show. The cast mates come together as Heidi and Spencer (finally) tie the knot. And one wedding guest in particular is poised to claim the spotlight. Much to Lauren's surprise, Kristin Cavallari, her former Laguna Beach rival, is set to make her grand re-entrance. — Karen Andzejewicz
Breaking Bad

Aqua Teen Hunger Force
