Hosting from the core of the Big Apple, Kevin Nealon returns to compile a year-end collection of the wittiest advertisements from the United States and abroad. If ad countdowns from years past are any indication, we can expect tonight's winning commercials to include an overload of injurious sight gags and scantily clad women, because, as marketers all know, sex sells. — Dean Maurer

This look at the "Grey Gardens" musical, based on the 1975 Maysles Brothers doc that chronicled the wacky lives of "Big Edie" and "Little Edie" Beale (the aunt and cousin of Jackie Onassis), explores how and why composer Scott Frankel developed it for the stage, and features interviews with documentarian Albert Maysles, Frankel, lyricist Michael Korie, dramatist Doug Wright and the play's cast. — Jeff Gemmill

Put aside, for a moment, Olivia's encounter with a presumed-dead Agent Scott as a science-fiction trompe l'oeil, and focus instead on the birdbrained ideas of Dr. Bishop. Is that a dismissal of his unconventional contributions thus far? Not in the least. In fact, it's more of a celebration of his eccentric methods, and in this repeat episode from October, they involve the use of homing pigeons when there are deadly consequences to a man's unusual ability to harness electricity. — Joe Friedrich
