Tom Selleck Closes Deal to Return for Blue Bloods Season 7
The cop drama begins production today
Blue Bloods star Tom Selleck has signed a deal to return for Season 7 of the CBS cop drama, Deadline confirmed Thursday.
The deal comes in the nick of time, too, since the show begins production Thursday. It keeps the veteran actor in the fold on Friday's top-rated show.
Selleck plays NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan on Blue Bloods, who's also the patriarch of a law enforcement-steeped family.
No figures were disclosed, but Selleck will probably be paid somewhere north of $200,000 per episode.
Blue Bloods returns Friday, Sept. 23 at 10/9c on CBS.
