Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to Co-Host SNL Dec. 19

The "Weekend Update" desk will get crowded on Dec. 19, when former anchors/besties Tina Fey and Amy Poehler co-hostSaturday Night Live.

NBC announced SNL's lineup through the end of 2015, and Fey/Poehler with musical guest Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band looks to be the highlight. Ryan Gosling hosts with musical guest Leon Bridges on Dec. 5, and Chris Hemsworth hosts with musical guest Chance the Rapper on Dec. 12.

Fey and Poehler have each hosted SNL individually, and have co-hosted the Golden Globes in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Fey was SNL's head writer from 1999-2006 and Poehler was a cast member from 2001-2008. They co-anchored "Weekend Update" from 2004-2006. They are also co-starring in the movie Sisters, in theaters Dec. 18.
