Tim Curry Will Return to The Rocky Horror Picture Show as the Narrator of the Upcoming Fox Special

Tim Curry will return to The Rocky Horror Picture Show for Fox's special this fall. The network announced on Friday that Curry, who originated the role of "sweet transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania" Dr. Frank-N-Further in the 1973 stage production of the legendary cult musical and in the 1975 film version, will play the Criminologist Narrator in Fox's revival.

As previously announced, Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox will play Frank-N-Furter. Victoria Justice and Liv & Maddie star Ryan McCarten will play sweethearts Janet and Brad, who were played by Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick in the film, and Adam Lambert will co-star as delivery boy Eddie, Meat Loaf's role in the movie.

Tim Curry accepts lifetime achievement award for his work on Broadway

The production will be directed and choreographed by Kenny Ortega, who directed Michael Jackson's This Is Itconcert film and Hocus Pocus, another cult favorite.
