Here's Your First Glimpse of The Walking Dead Season 7

AMC released the first official glimpse of The Walking Dead's hotly anticipated seventh season on Wednesday. The photo, released via Entertainment Weekly, shows Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) holding his barbed wire-wrapped bat Lucille and grinning. The photo could have come from last season's finale, but since Season 7 will pick up right where Season 6 left off, it's still very relevant.

The pic serves as an appetizer to The Walking Dead's panel at San Diego Comic Con next Friday, July 22nd, when more details about Season 7 will be revealed.

Season 7 of The Walking Dead premieres in October.
