The Resident Exclusive: Can Bell Save Mina from the Board?

Chastain Park Memorial Hospital has fallen out of favor with US News and World Report in Monday's episode of The Resident, and that means the board is ready to consider making drastic changes to up the hospital's profile. Those changes put Mina Okafor (Shaunette Renee Wilson) in the crosshairs.

The higher ups want to avoid publicly disclosing their complication rates in surgeries, which could make the hospital vulnerable to lawsuits, and so they suggest an alternative strategy of firing "repeat offenders" of surgical errors, bringing up Mina's name. Bell (Bruce Greenwood) knows that Mina's "errors" have only occurred because she's been covering for his tremors and he can't afford to see her cut from the staff.
