Eric Dane Is Ready for War in This Brutal Preview for The Last Ship's Final Season

Can Eric Dane's ridiculously handsome face save humanity once and for all? Judging by the trailer for The Last Ship's final season, not even his Helen of Troy good looks can stop the impending war that threatens the last remaining humans on Earth.

The action series, which stars Dane as Tom Chandler, a captain (and later admiral) aboard a naval ship desperately searching for the cure to a virus that already wiped out half of humanity, is set to return Sunday, Sept. 9 at 9/8c on TNT. More importantly, TNT released a sneak peek at the upcoming season and the prospects are... not great. Not only is he gearing up for a major throwdown that could determine the future of the world, but he must face an enemy that just may be hiding right under his nose.
