TNT has pulled the two-hour Season 3 premiere of the postapocalyptic drama The Last Ship from its Sunday night schedule in response to the mass shooting in an Orlando nightclub that has left 50 people dead.

"As a result of the shootings this weekend in Orlando, tonight's originally scheduled season premiere of The Last Ship has been postponed," the network said in a statement. "Our hearts are with the victims and their families."

The premiere has a scene that depicts gunmen invading a Vietnamese nightclub.

TNT will instead rerun the last two episodes of Season 2. A new date for the premiere has not yet been determined.

This is not the only change in response to the shooting happening on primetime TV Sunday. The Tony Awards will be dedicated to victims and their families, and a performance of songs from the musical Hamilton will no longer use muskets as props during the show.
