One year after the end of the Rosie Larsen murder investigation, Linden (Mireille Enos) is now a ferry worker living on an island off the coast of Seattle. The Killing's Holder and Linden and more awesome detective duos

"In the last moments of Season 2, she really is adrift," Enos says in the preview clip. "She has no home, no son, no job, and she just goes for a walk without any real idea where she'll land. It's one of the most disconnected places she's ever been in her life. In some ways that's a peaceful place to be... until Holder knocks on her door."
Linden's former partner Holder (Joel Kinnaman) comes looking for answers when his investigation into a runaway girl leads him to one of Linden's old cases involving a man (guest star Peter Sarsgaard) she put away for murder.  And sure enough, she gets sucked right back in.

"She's haunted by a case from three years ago," Enos says. "She put away a man for killing his wife but never was peaceful about having found the actual murderer. She battles some emotional and mental fragility. That case definitely challenged that part of her personality. And now she's always trying to prove to herself it isn't a problem when it is."For more on the new season, watch the exclusive sneak peek below.
