Actor and musician Jackson Odell passed away at the age of 20 on Sunday, according to TMZ.
Odell had appeared on a number of TV and film projects since his childhood, including Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer and TV's The Goldbergs, in which he played Ari, and also enjoyed writing credits on several film soundtracks, including the recent romantic drama Forever My Girl.
He was reportedly found unresponsive at a clean living facility, with no foul play expected, and his family confirmed the news in a statement which reads: "The Odell family has lost our beloved son and brother, Jackson Odell. He will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul. He had so much more to share. Our family will always carry that truth forward. Our wish is that the rest of the world does as well. We are now going to try to make sense of our immeasurable loss privately."

[UPDATE June 14] Odell was laid to rest on Wednesday, according to E!, in a service reserved for only close family. A celebration of Odell's life for fans is currently being planned for June 23, but no details on the event have been made public yet.
The cause of death is still unknown, pending an autopsy. Though Odell had a history of substance abuse and was previously a heroin user, no drug paraphernalia was found near his body at the time of his death. He was reportedly clean when he took his most recent drug test, says TMZ, but there was no timetable for when the test took place.
Fans reacted to the loss on social media.
No!! Jackson Odell was so insanely talented. Not just for random shows & movies, but for his music. Followed him on YT for yrs & made sure to include him in an article I did at my 1st internship yrs ago. Then went to see #ForeverMyGirl opening night to support his songwriting😢😭 https://t.co/XH2Wp7QRgx
