Just when he thought he was out, they pull him back in.
After locating the bunker in which Adam was imprisoned on The Family, the police ask Claire (Joan Allen) and John (Rupert Graves) on Sunday's episode if they would allow Adam (Liam James) to revisit the scene of his 10-year imprisonment.
"Our hope is that the visceral experience of being back there might trigger some memory," Nina (Margot Bingham) says in the exclusive sneak peek above.

"Or a complete breakdown," Claire interjects.
The third episode will "answer a lot of questions about where Adam was and what led to Hank's [Andrew McCarthy] arrest," creator and executive producer Jenna Bans tells TVGuide.com. "You're going to see a lot more of the bunker and [find out] some of what happened to him there."
