It's the Future We Can See: Raven Symoné Will Guest-Star as a Beauty Influencer on The Bold Type

OK, not even Raven Baxter could have seen this one coming! The Bold Type is getting a fresh new face in its upcoming fourth season, and it just so happens to be one OG Disney Channel fans already know and love: Raven-Symoné!

E! News reports that Symoné, best known for her lead role on Disney's That's So Raven, will recur in Season 4 as Alice, a successful beauty influencer who will be a celebrity model for a Scarlet photo spread focusing on anti-cultural appropriation.

Considering the Season 3 cliffhanger left us all wondering whether Scarlet was shutting down following a risky decision to scrap and revamp its fall issue two days before it was supposed to go to press, Alice's character description helps calm our nerves a little bit. It certainly sounds like Scarlet as we know it isn't dead, not if the magazine is still planning photoshoots and spreads as if business is going on as usual.

The Bold Type's official Instagram even shared a photo of Symoné with Aisha Dee and Meghann Fahy. The caption reads, "We're here for this. @Ravensymone will be blessing your screens as a guest star on Season 4 of #TheBoldType. Raven will play Alice, a successful beauty influencer with millions of followers."

Details about the rest of Season 4 and the goings-on of our three favorite Scarlet employees are being kept strictly under wraps, but we've got a feeling that each of them will get to have some very cool interactions with Symoné's new character over the course of her recurring arc.
