Jane's got a new boy toy on The Bold Type, but he comes with a major but.

In this exclusive sneak peek, Jane's (Katie Stevens) unemployment woes continue, but the one good thing about all her free time is it allows her to see more of her new guy, Ben Chau (Luca James Lee). Naturally, she dishes to Sutton (Meghann Fahy) and Kat (Aisha Dee) about their first date, but even though she really likes Ben, there's one thing about him that doesn't exactly have Jane begging for another date.

You'll have to watch the episode to find out what exactly this fatal flaw is, but we can say that it's going make Jane question whether or not pursuing a relationship with him is a smart move.

The Bold Type Mega Buzz: A Gun Control Episode Is Coming in Season 2

This realization comes just in time for Pinstripe's (Dan Jeannotte) return, who spends much of the episode trying to help Jane find a new writing gig while she searches for a more permanent staff position. Let's hope those two can keep things purely professional.
