For more than four seasons, Liz Keen (Megan Boone) has been searching for her father on The Blacklist. Now, her husband Tom (Ryan Eggold) is about to meet his.

The upcoming Tom-centric Blacklist spin-off The Blacklist: Redemption has cast veteran TV actor Terry O'Quinn as Tom's father Howard Hargrave, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Howard is the founder of Halcyon Aegis, a private military contracting firm, who is described as a "visionary leader" whose personal moral code often conflicts with his business interests, according to Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the news.

The Blacklist: Redemption's Ryan Eggold: Tom's "life is going to change dramatically"

The Blacklist: Redemption will follow Tom as he goes to work for a team of mercenaries led by his mother, Scottie Hargrave (Famke Janssen). Howard and Scottie have a "complex" relationship, and the deeply-wounded Howard will start to question everything he knows about his personal and professional relationships.

O'Quinn is best known for playing John Locke on Lost, but his other television credits include 666 Park Avenue, Secrets and Lies and The West Wing.
