Earlier this week, TVGuide.com ran a poll asking our readers which man from JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette they want to be chosen to be the next star of The Bachelor.

The results are in, and it wasn't even close: you want Luke Pell, the hunky veteran from Burnet, Tx.

By securing 38% of the vote, Luke finished the poll 21 percentage points higher than second-place finisher Chase McNary.

Jocular singer-songwriter James Taylor was the only other candidate to break double-digits, securing 11% of the vote.

Bachelorette frontrunner Jordan Rodgers only got 5% of the vote, but that's likely because fans would rather see him get engaged to JoJo than become the next Bachelor. If he were to become the Bachelor, that would mean his relationship with JoJo lasted just a few months, and that would be a disappointment.

Bachelor Nation is in the midst of a baby boom

And the poll has some bad news for Robby Hayes, the other guy in the final four, who tied with Derek Peth for last place, earning only 4% of the vote. Sorry, Robby.

We know Luke is not going to win, since JoJo planned to eliminate him during the Week 8 rose ceremony, the conclusion of which will be shown in this Monday's episode. We'll see if she follows through on sending him home. No matter what happens next week, you can expect to see Luke Pell announced as the Bachelor during the After the Final Rose special August 1st. He's by far the most popular option.
