The Bachelor: People Want Kenny King to Replace Arie

The Pretty Boy Pitbull made a scene-stealing guest appearance

The Bachelor's first group date paid tribute to a certain Netflix hit with a wrestling date. Apparently, though, there's not a lot of crossover between Bachelor fans and pro wrestling fans (seriously, y'all didn't watch GLOW? Get it together! That's a great show!). Viewers on Twitter weren't really into it, except for one part: the triumphant return of Pretty Boy Pitbull Kenny King!

Kenny was a fan favorite on Rachel's season of The Bachelorette. He was a really sweet, funny dude who missed his daughter so much that he left the show to go home to her. He's also a professional wrestler. He showed up and put the hurtin' on Arie Luyendyk Jr, who wrestled in business casual. He was barely even trying. Kenny threw him around until Arie turned the tables on him and pinned him. Badly. Kenny got jobbed. Arie had the good sense to know he didn't look cool during this date. What a jabroni.

Fans were loving Kenny, though.

So much that some folks were saying he saved a flopping date.

Because they weren't enjoying the wrestling.

Kenny took a dive and lost, because the Bachelor can't get beat on his own show.

A lot of people seem like they actually would prefer if Kenny were the Bachelor instead.

The episode photos on ABC's press site includes a shot of something that didn't make the episode, which is honestly so disappointing. Check this out:

I think I speak for all of us when I say "please show me Chris Harrison hitting someone with a chair." He gets so little to do these days, and the one time he gets to do something cool, it gets cut! ABC should release it as a deleted scene. I need to see Chris Harrison's heel turn.

The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
