The 100is only a few episodes into Season 5 but The CW will bring the post-apocalypse show back for another season.

Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and crew will fight to survive another season on a mostly-deserted Earth, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Season 4 ended with the world's nuclear power plants melting down and sending a catastrophic wave of radiation across the globe. Some of the crew hid under ground in sealed bunkers, some made it back to space. Clarke managed to survive the radiation in the outside world, but so far Season 5 has been about the groups trying to reconvene while surviving the elements.

Fans of the show have been on high alert after The CW renewed 10 of its dramas last month, but The 100's late spring premiere has always pushed its renewal much closer to the network's May deadline. The two shows left waiting for official renewal from The CW are iZombie and Lucy Hale's Life Sentence.

The network's military drama Valor was pulled off the schedule in the fall and its cast have already found roles in other shows looking to premiere this fall.

The 100 airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on The CW.
