The singer issued an epic clapback to the sexist mag
There are a lot of things you can call Taylor Swift - the reigning queen of pop, one of the best-selling artists of all time, Grammy/BMA/CMA Award-winning superstar - and yet OK! Magazine decided to go in a different direction.
On Saturday, the tabloid tweeted a story in which they teased Swift "made a 'pregnancy announcement!'" The tweet was pure clickbait, leading to an article in which Swift charmingly helped two fans announce their pregnancy.
Thank you so much @taylorswift13 helping me tell the world IM GOING TO BE A DAD! #BabiesFirstConcert @lindseyjo86 pic.twitter.com/8135go8e3e
To add insult to injury, OK! didn't refer to Swift by any of her awe-inspiring achievements or accolades, instead defining her as "Harry Styles' ex girlfriend" and "Calvin Harris' rumoured girlfriend."
Swift was not about to take this ish quietly and issued an epic clapback.
@OK_Magazine this misleading headline and your choice of words in labeling me are why we need feminism in 2015. pic.twitter.com/x6sLT8IKx9
