Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley Win Big at CMT Awards

Taylor Swift and Brad Paisley were the biggest winners at the 2009 Country Music Television Awards.
Swift, who opened the show with a skit about making her dreams come true, took home awards for video of the year and female video of the year for her hit "Love Story." (Watch the video here.)
"This is for everybody who still believes in love stories, because I do," Swift, 19, said in her acceptance speech. (Check out red carpet photos here.)
Brad Paisley won male video of the year for "Waitin' on a Woman," and shared best collaborative video with Keith Urban for "Start a Band." Paisley also won for best performance of the year with Alan Jackson, George Strait and Dierks Bentley for "Country Boy."
During his acceptance speech for male video, Paisley thanked TV icon Andy Griffith, who appears with him in "Waitin' on a Woman." "He has changed my life in so many ways, and to be on film with him, you can imagine what that would be like," he said.
Other winners at Tuesday's awards included Sugarland, which won duo of the year for their "All I Want to Do" video, and the Zac Brown Band, which won for breakthrough video with "Chicken Fried." Kid Rock also scored, taking home the wide open country award for his video for "All Summer Long." The video for the song, which reworks Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama," features bikini-clad women on a speed boat.
"I think this was based on creativity, this award, because what's more creative than a strip pole on a pontoon boat?" Rock said at the podium.
Comedian Bill Engvall hosted, while artists including Def Leppard, Kellie Pickler and Trace Adkins performed. Also on hand for the festivities were Dancing champs Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas and pro Julianne Hough.
