It's time to put the final glaze on the wings, stir up that chili, and get comfortable for Super Bowl Sunday. Super Bowl 2021 pits the Kansas City Chiefs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa, Florida in the NFL World Championship game. The event is annually the most-watched television event of the year, and even with pandemic restrictions on big gatherings, the show will go on. 

Whether you're tuning in to see these two teams battle it out, or you're here for the spectacle and chicken wings, here is everything you need to know about Super Bowl 2021, including how to watch and who you can expect to see on game day.

When is the Super Bowl?


The Super Bowl will be played on Sunday, Feb. 7 with kickoff at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. It's being played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. 

Who is playing in the Super Bowl?


The Kansas City Chiefs will defend their 2020 title against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes is looking to become the youngest QB in NFL history to win two Super Bowl MVP trophies back to back, while Tom Brady is hoping to add a seventh Super Bowl ring to his collection and bring a Lombardi Trophy to Tampa after his first season away from the New England Patriots.

Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will be calling the game for CBS. Carl Cheffers will be head referee on the field.
