Strike Back Might Live on As a Movie

AStrike Backmovie is in the early stages of development, Entertainment Weeklyreports.

Sullivan Stapleton and Philip Winchester would likely reprise their roles in the film, which hopes to shoot in South America in 2016. Both actors currently star in new shows on NBC, with Winchester playing the lead on The Player and Stapleton starring in Blindspot.

Strike Back recently wrapped its five-season run in July. London-based production company Left Bank Pictures has made a deal with Sky, which broadcast the action series in the U.K., to develop the film, and producers are also in talks with U.S. distributor Cinemax.
