STRIKE OUT

Will the New York City transit strike, which, as of Tuesday morning, has turned subways and buses into big ol' paperweights, scupper Big Apple-area productions? Fortunately — if not somewhat suspiciously, I say — most films and prime-time series, such as the Law & Orders, just so happened to break for the holidays prior to the mass-transportation stoppage. Others, meanwhile, have secured hotel rooms for actors and carpools for crew members. But fear not, Ausiello and I made it into work OK, which is what you were really worried about.
