They're still not gaining on the Game of Thrones stars though

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the stars of Netflix's Stranger Thingswent through an intense renegotiation of their contracts before signing on for Season 3 of the hit streaming show, and it was a lucrative deal for everyone involved. The cast was divided into pay scales of three groups: The "A tier," "B tier" and "C tier."

The "A tier" includes the adult actors, such as Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers ) and David Harbour (Jim Hopper). They will reportedly make $350,000 an episode. If simple math's not your thing, we've got you covered -- that totals out to $3.5 million for the season.

Though they'll be making less per episode than the older stars, the kids in the "B tier" are really the ones that came away from the table with the biggest wins. According to THR, new contracts for the child actors amount to 12 times what their original deals paid out, allotting $250,000 per episode for Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair) and Noah Schnapp (Wil Byers).

Finally, the "C tier," which consists of the teenagers (who are actually all in their 20s but whatever), will be making the lowest major salary, but don't cry for them yet. Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers) and Joe Keery (Steve Harrington) are each pocketing somewhere around $150,000 an episode.

The only star's salary that remains a mystery is key player Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), whose earnings are presumably harder to pin down because of how integral she has become to the DNA of the show. THR theorizes she could have been bumped into the "A tier" even though some sources say she's likely in the second tier group with the rest of the kiddos.

Regardless of which tier everyone falls in, these are some awesome salaries, especially considering how many of these actors got their breakout role in Stranger Things.

Still, when you compare them to the larger than life salaries of the Game of Thrones actors, the Stranger Things cast still has a ways to go. The top five stars of HBO's hit fantasy series (Emilia Clarke, Kit Harrington, Peter Dinklage, Lena Heady and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) reportedly make $500,000 per episode. Their second tier of actors are all presumably making somewhere in the $200,000-$300,000 per episode range.

Both seasons of Strangers Things are currently streaming on Netflix.
