Stranger Thingsis about to take us all back to the Upside Down (by way of the Starcourt Mall) when its third season arrives on Netflix on July 4. To celebrate, the young cast went to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum to promote the show with a bang -- er, a scream.

Show stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Sadie Sink teamed up with The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday to do a little mind-flaying of their own. Each dressed up in their character's signature garb alongside Fallon -- who styled himself like Season 1's internet sensation Barb (Shannon Purser) and turned away so patrons couldn't see his bearded face -- and pretended to be wax figures for museum guests to take pictures with. And just as these unsuspecting strangers got comfortable saying cheese, the kids reanimated to give 'em a thrill that could be captured on camera.

New Stranger Things Trailer Teases That This Will Be The Worst Summer Ever

Luckily, no one went full Demogorgon on any of them, but those reactions were of legitimate surprise.

Stranger Things 3 premieres on Netflix on July 4.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on NBC.
