Stephen Colbert Sets Up Twitter Account for Bill Clinton

Times have sure changed since Bill Clinton was inaugurated in 1993. While the former president has embraced some aspects of social media, he has avoided Twitter. That is, until appearing on Monday's episode of The Colbert Report.

Times have sure changed since Bill Clinton was inaugurated in 1993. While the former president has embraced some aspects of social media, he has avoided Twitter. That is, until appearing on Monday's episode of The Colbert Report.
"I think I'm so sort of insecure, like what if you tweet and no one tweets back?" Clinton told Stephen Colbert. "There's nothing worse than a friendless tweeter."

Fortunately, Colbert took it upon himself to open an account for Clinton under the handle @PrezBillyJeff (@PresidentClinton was taken) and had the former president dictate his first tweet: "Just spent amazing time with Colbert! Is he sane? He is cool! #cgiu"Watch the clip below.
