Another familiar face is returning to Law & Order: SVU this season.

TV Guide has learned that Stephanie March will reprise her role as former ADA Alex Cabot in the April episode "Sunk Cost Fallacy." Cabot will cross paths with her old friend, Sgt. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), who is searching for an abducted woman and her young daughter.

Cabot first appeared as ADA Cabot in Season 2 and stayed with the team until a member of a Colombian drug cartel threatened her life in Season 5, forcing her to enter the Witness Protection Program. She reemerged in Season 6 to help put away the man who attempted to murder her and went on to become the homicide bureau chief of the district attorney's office.

Law & Order: SVU Shake Up: Raul Esparza Exits as Philip Winchester Joins the Cast

March is the latest Law & Order alum to make their way back to the series after Sam Waterston dropped by for a visit in February. His appearance also saw Chicago Justice's Peter Stone (Philip Winchester) join the crew as a series regular, replacing ADA Rafael Barba (Raul Esparza) who stepped down from his post after overstepping his boundaries on a case.

Law & Order: SVU airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on NBC.
