But what about Jack?!
If you were hoping the first trailer for Station 19's second season would make you feel better about that gut-wrenching skyscraper fire that ended Season 1, we're sorry. On the bright side, it looks like there's a big crossover with Grey's Anatomyon the horizon! No one is going to take issue with that!
The firefighters from Station 19 are still stuck inside the inferno in the trailer, until the ones we already knew were safe make it to Grey Sloan Memorial, where Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary) are all waiting for them. It even looks like Miller (Okierete Onaodowan) is trying to throw some sexy eyes in Maggie's direction, so we can't wait until he meets Jackson (Jesse Williams).

Lightheartedness aside, things are still very dire for this crew. Montgomery (Jay Hayden) is still unconscious when he gets to the hospital, and Ben's (Jason George) emotional reaction doesn't make us feel good about his fate. What's even more ominous is that there's no sign of Jack (Grey Damon) in the trailer. Would the team really leave him behind? Will our eyeballs really be deprived of his beautiful face all season? We object!
We still have one more week until we find out everyone's fates, so buckle up, folks.
Station 19 Season 2 premieres Thursday, Oct. 4 at 9/8c on ABC.
