Breaking Badstar Jesse Plemons is being eyed to star in Star Wars: Episode VII, The Wrap reports.

Plemons will reportedly meet with director J.J. Abrams for a second tryout after first doing an audition on tape from Austin, Texas. It's unclear what role the Friday Night Lightsalum may play, but at 25 years old, he could be the right age to play Luke Skywalker's son.

Star Wars: Episode VII gets release date

Episode VII, which is set after the death of Darth Vader, will go into production in spring 2014 and is scheduled to hit theaters on Dec. 18, 2015. Abrams, along with The Empire Strikes BackandReturn of the Jedi co-writer Lawrence Kasdan, recently took over screenwriting duties from Toy Story 3 scribe Michael Arndt.

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, Bryan Burk (Star Trek Into Darkness) and Abrams are producing, and Tommy Harper (Star Trek Into Darkness) and Jason McGatlin (War of the Worlds) will serve as executive producers. John Williams, who scored the first three films, but not the more recent prequels, will return for Episode VII.

What role do you think Plemmons could play?
