Star Wars: The Force Awakens is still the leading force at the box office, taking in $153.5 million to make it the largest second weekend of all time, Box Office Mojo reports. Star Wars is now a billion-dollar movie too, grossing more than $544 million domestically and another $546 million internationally in 12 days.
Two films in their first weekend took the second and third spots: Daddy's Home, the Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg comedy, came in second with $38.8 million, while Joy, which stars Jennifer Lawrence as self-made entrepreneur and home-shopping guru Joy Mangano, took third place with $17.5 million. (With The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II at No. 9, Lawrence has two movies in the box office top 10.)
