Star Trek: Voyager Actress Charged with Indecent Exposure Allegedly Involving Minors

Jennifer Lien, who played Kes on Star Trek: Voyager, was arrested and has been in custody for two weeks after allegedly exposing herself in front of children, Variety reports.

Lien has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure for an incident that occurred on Aug. 31. Lien's Tennessee neighbor notified the authorities after the actress became enraged and went on a rant over a child who was crying. And then, for some reason decided that was a good time to expose her breasts and buttocks in the process. Three children were reportedly in the yard at the time.

According to the Roane County Sheriff's Office, Lien was naked and resisted arrest when police arrived with a warrant on Sept. 3. The report from the office also says that Lien threatened to have the officers shot and killed.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Dec. 7.

Lien appeared on Star Trek: Voyager from 1995 to 2000 as Kes, the nurse/botanist aboard ship and partner to Neelix. Her other TV credits include Battle Force: Andromeda, Men in Black: The Series and Phenom.
