He was beloved by many showbiz greats
John "Cha Cha" Ciarcia, who played mobster Albie Cianflone on The Sopranos, died following a brief illness Nov. 21, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He was 75.
Ciarcia, who was at one time Tony Danza's boxing manager, was a Manhattan native who grew up in Little Italy. In addition to playing Albie Cianfione, he appeared in films including Goodfellasand Hoffa.
The actor also owned Cha Cha's In Bocca Al Lupo Cafe, which became a hangout for his pals including Danza, RobertDe Niro and Martin Scorsese. His survivors include his wife Karen King.
