Prepare to keep carpooling, kiddos!
Prepare to keep carpooling, kiddos! ABC showed some love to its new comedy, Single Parents, today, giving the show a full season order and bringing its Season 1 episode count up to 22.
Single Parents focuses in a group of exhausted moms and dads going it alone, raising kids without a partner. From guinea pig deaths to Saturday sleepovers, this series chronicles the highs and lows of parenthood when you're a solo act instead of a duet. In a year that has ultimately proven disappointing where broadcast comedies are concerned, Single Parents stands out as a hilariously honest half-hour of television that doesn't cut the crusts off of some of the harsh realities of raising a kid on your own.
The series stars Leighton Meester as Angie D'Amato, Taran Killam as Will Cooper, Brad Garrett as Douglas Fogerty, Kimrie Lewis as Poppy Banks, Jake Choi as Miggy Park, and Marlow Barkley as Sophie Cooper.
Single Parents airs Wednesdays at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
