American Idol creator Simon Fuller is taking his act online.
Fuller is launching a Web reality series called If I Can Dream that will chronicle five young people — a musician, an actor, two actresses and a model — around-the-clock as they try to break into their respective industries, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The innovative program will stream their experiences 24/7 on the show's official Web site, and viewers will be allowed to interact with the participants live via Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and texting.

"The next frontier is the video world of authentic real-time interaction," Fuller said. "It is time the public got to see the truth behind what it takes to launch the careers of young artists who have a dream that one day on pure merit they can be professional entertainers and gain the recognition they crave. This is the dawning of a new age." If a participant drops out of the show, a replacement will be named after an open audition.If I Can Dream will also launch on mobile and radio, while Hulu will stream weekly recaps with footage culled from the live feed.
