Showtime and FanLib have announced "the first network-sanctioned collaborative writing event" whereby fans can help develop a script for an existing series — in this instance, The L Word. Through March 31, fan-fiction scribes can register at LWordFanisode.com and pen a scene for the sapphic series. Each week a winner will be determined by online votes, until enough scenes are accumulated for an entire script. The final product might not ever make it to air (thanks, Writers Guild legalities!), but will be published in an ezine.... Attention, Fanilows! Barry Manilow will perform a full set, including "Copacabana," on this Friday's Dancing with the Stars results show.
