Shonda Rhimes' production company is developing a new drama for ABC about a Bronx convent, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The untitled drama, from Fringe's Alison Schapker, is about a group of Catholic nuns fighting against the closure of their convent. And when three young novices show up, the nuns must deal with many long-buried secrets coming to light.

Schapker will write the pilot and executive-produce alongside Rhimes and Betsy Beers.

This is the second project Shondaland is developing for ABC this season. The company is also working with Trophy Wife creators Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins on a half-hour divorce comedy, Splitsville.
