Sheree Whitfield Leaving Real Housewives Because of Fighting and Cattiness

Sheree Whitfield has lost her taste for wig-pulling.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member is leaving the Bravo reality show after four seasons, she told Wetpaint on Wednesday. "After four solid seasons of helping Bravo build the show into its most successful Housewives franchise, I have decided to leave. The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle. I'm tired of the fighting and the cattiness.

"I want to be part of something that empowers and inspires women to not only be healthy, but to treat themselves with respect," she continued. "I wish the rest of the women the best of luck. I'm thrilled to say I'm now a free agent and am already fielding offers."

Bravo later confirmed Whitfield's announcement, stating, "We have enjoyed working with Sheree as part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. We wish her all the best in the future."

Whitfield is the ex-wife of former Atlanta Falcons player Bob Whitfield and the creator of her own fashion line, She by Sheree. She already has plans to launch a new fitness venture that will promote healthier living.
