Scott Baio, a former teen idol and sitcom star from Happy Days, Joanie Loves Chachi and Charles in Charge, will give a speech at this week's Republican National Convention in Cleveland, voicing his support for presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Baio said during an appearance on the Fox News show Justice with Judge Jeanine on Saturday that Trump invited him to speak during the convention. "I actually was at a fundraiser for Mr. Trump the other night with my wife, and he invited me to speak at the convention, which was completely unexpected and out of left field," Baio, who played Bob Loblaw, attorney-at-law on Arrested Development, told host Jeanine Pirro.

Baio's confirmation comes after denials from higher-profile celebrities like basketball coach Bobby Knight and former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow that they would be speaking at the convention.

Baio and Trump have at least one thing in common - they were both reality TV stars. Baio had two VH1 shows -- Scott Baio Is 45...and Single and Scott Baio Is 46...and Pregnant -- from 2007 to 2008.

Baio recently tweeted a photo that calls Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton a sexist slur with the hashtag #NeverHillary.

Here's how to watch the Republican National Convention, which begins Monday.
