Watch Saturday Night Live's Unaired Take Down of the Hallmark's Christmas Movies

No part of this sketch is untrue

Have you ever found yourself watching six really terrible Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel all in one very uneventful December afternoon? Then you might be able to understand why Saturday Night Live's recently cut skit about the Hallmark Channel's holiday programming was so hilariously accurate.

SNL took a fair shot at these cheesy Christmas movies earlier this month when James Franco hosted, but the sketch ended up getting cut for time. Now that they've released it online though, you too can mock the many ways the Hallmark Channel manages to annoy you with its Christmas content.

"From the company that writes one-sentence greeting cards comes 21 full-length movies!"

The sketch goes on to point out the lack of diversity in any and all Hallmark Christmas movies, as well as the channel's tendency to reuse sets, actors, and plot points. Here's hoping next year they take a shot at Netflix, who rolled out their own slew of terrible Christmas movies this year. Looking at you A Christmas Prince.

Saturday Night Live returns Jan. 13th at 11:30/10:30c on NBC.
