Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch and Retired Model Jerry Hall Are Engaged

Rupert Murdoch, the 84-year-old multi-billionaire chairman of News Corp, and Jerry Hall, the 59-year-old former top model and ex-partner of Mick Jagger, announced their engagement in British newspaper The Times, which is owned by Murdoch, on Monday.

Murdoch and Hall have been dating since late summer, and made their relationship public in October. They appeared together at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, and had gotten engaged over the weekend.

This will be Murdoch's fourth marriage, and first legal marriage for Hall (she was in a relationship with the Rolling Stones frontman from 1977 to 1999 and has four children with him, but their marriage was annulled). Murdoch has six children, including two teenage daughters with third wife Wendi Deng, whom he divorced in 2013.
