ROSIE RETURNS

Rosie O'Donnell revealed on today's Rosie O'Donnell Show that the staph infection to her surgically repaired left hand was life-threatening — forcing docs to consider amputation at one point. However, O'Donnell is now on the road to recovery and will resume her full-time hosting duties on Monday. She made a special appearance on today's program (taped Thursday) to interview guest host Barbara Walters about her adoption special airing tonight on ABC. In the meantime, O'Donnell will head to Los Angeles this weekend to preside over Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards.
