The Viewis losing a Rosie after all.

Only a few weeks after ABC shut down rumors that Rosie Perez was exiting the daytime talk show, TVGuide.com has confirmed that Rosie O'Donnell will be stepping down as co-host. O'Donnell is leaving The View to focus on her family following her split from her wife Michelle Rounds.

"Rosie is an immensely talented star who comes in each and every morning brimming with ideas, excitement and passion for the show," ABC News said in a statement. "When she told us that she wanted to exit The View, we respected and understood her desire to put her well-being and her family first. We're delighted she's still part of the ABC family with upcoming guest appearances on The Fosters. And we know she'll return to The View often with her unique point of view and updates on her work and her family."

O'Donnell and Rounds wed in June 2012 and adopted a daughter, Dakota, the next year. The actress also has four older children with her first wife, Kelli Carpenter-O'Donnell.

"Rosie has teens and an infant at home that need her attention," O'Donnell's rep said in a statement. "This has been a very stressful situation. She is putting her personal health and family first. ABC has been wonderfully understanding and supportive of her personal decision to leave The View. Next week will be her last."

O'Donnell, who previously co-hosted The View for one season in 2007, returned to the show only six months ago.

Page Six was the first to report the news.
