Rose Leslie has joined the upcoming Good Wifespin-off on CBS All Access.

The actress, who is best known for playing Ygritte on Game of Thrones, will star as Maia, a young attorney and Diane Lockhart's (Christine Baranski) goddaughter.

The spin-off will pick up one year after The Good Wife's finale and find Diane being forced out of Lockhart & Lee after a financial scam destroyed Maia's reputation and wiped out Diane's savings. In the fallout from the crisis, Diane will take her protégé to join Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) at another one of Chicago's top law firms. Eli's (Alan Cumming) daughter Marissa (Sarah Steele) will also follow Diane to the new firm, where she'll discover she has a knack for investigating.

But if Marissa is the new Kalinda, does that make Maia the new Alicia?

The Good Wife spin-off will premiere in February 2017 with a special broadcast on CBS, before the drama moves exclusively to the streaming service CBS All Access.

Are you excited Leslie has joined the cast?
