Exactly two weeks after her bone marrow transplant, Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts says she's feeling great.

In a new entry on her blog, Roberts says that her blood counts are "GREAT!" and that her doctors and nurses are "very pleased with my progress."

Robin Roberts undergoes bone marrow transplant

"I have had some extremely painful days and it's still difficult for me to eat because of all the chemo," she says, but notes, "I continue to learn so much on this journey, especially when it comes to true friendship and love. My friends near and far -- like Sam [Champion]  and Josh [Elliott] who came to visit yesterday -- have been lifting my spirits."

Roberts, who received the bone-marrow transplant from her sister, said she is optimistic she will be able to continue her recovery at home next week.

Roberts was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder, myelodysplastic syndrome, back in June and started a leave of absence from Good Morning America on Sept. 1.
