Boy Meets World Star Rider Strong to Marry This Weekend

First Boy Meets World. Then boy meets girl. Then boy marries girl... and they live happily ever after. At least that's the plan for Rider Strong and Alexandra Barreto. 

The couple is set to wed this Sunday, People reports.

"I'm incredibly lucky to be getting married to my best friend and partner-in-crime," Strong said of the Oregon wedding.

The actor proposed to Barreto last December in something straight out of a Nicholas Sparks book: In the pouring rain with a handmade ring under the redwood trees of his childhood home. "I spent weeks making the ring in secret," Strong said. "I carved the ring out of wax, cast it in white gold and had my dad make a wooden ring box for me. My dad made my mom's ring, so I was following in his footsteps."

Strong and Barreto met on the short-lived series Pepper Dennis in 2006.
