Revolution: Who Is Miles' One True Love?

It's a classic tale of boy meets girl, boy meets another girl, boy makes out with both girls years later and sends Revolutionshippers into a tizzy.

Trying to save the world hasn't stopped Miles Matheson (Billy Burke) from putting himself in the middle of one hot love triangle on the NBC drama (Mondays at 10/9c). On one hand, he has his former fling Nora Clayton (Daniella Alonso), an altruistic rebel with a penchant for blowing things up. But on the other, there's Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell), his late brother's widow (and his former militia hostage) who shares in Miles' moral depravity.

Decisions, decisions...

Since Miles is busy fighting Monroe, we decided to weigh the options for him.

Team Nora: When we first met Miles, he was a reclusive ol' grump hiding from his past. Now, not only has Miles begun facing his demons head on, but he even cracks a smile every now and then. Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) was a huge factor in Miles' metamorphosis, but we have to give a lot of credit to Nora, too. With a mix of stanch determination and steadfast optimism, Nora always tries to do the right thing and inspires Miles to follow suit.

In last week's episode "The Love Boat," Miles had regressed into an unhappy drunk who does whatever it takes — even kidnap a man's family to use as collateral — for "the greater good." Nora helped to pull him back into non-psycho kidnapper territory, saving Miles from himself and AA.  No matter what, Nora continues to support Miles, but also pushes him to be a better person, which — unless we want two ruthless militia leaders on our hands — is definitely a major plus.

Team Rachel: Talk about chemistry! "With Miles, I feel like [Rachel's] either going to kiss him or she's going to beat the crap out of him and she's always trying to figure out what," Mitchell said. There's no doubt that all of Miles and Rachel's interactions are fraught with such passion, but is that necessarily a good thing? "Usually your pain attracts," the actress explained. "You're attracted to each other's bad qualities. Sometimes that draws you in even more than the good ones."

It's true that Miles and Rachel do seem to share a deep understanding, but mainly when it comes to their past crimes. A relationship built on guilt doesn't exactly sound like the key to a healthy, happy life. Plus, they're the only family Charlie has left. Talk about awkward Thanksgiving dinners if things don't work out!

But whoever is Miles OTP (one true pairing), don't expect them to be happy together any time soon. "I think after a lot of pain and effort, I think it is possible to have love in this world. But you know, good drama doesn't come from people being particularly happy or going to the park," creator Eric Kripke explained. "There is definitely a happy ending at the very end of it all, but it'll be a lot of adventure and trouble getting there."
