Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman have signed on to star in a new limited series, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The series, which will be based on the New York Times best-seller Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty, will be penned by Emmy winner David E. Kelley (The Crazy Ones), but doesn't yet have a home. It's expected to be shopped around to premium cable networks and streaming services.

The oddly comedic novel tells the story of three women whose seemingly perfect lives begin to unravel after a disastrous parents' night at an elementary school fundraiser leads to a murder.
Witherspoon, Kidman, and Kelley will also executive-produce the project.
