Sundance has renewed Rectify for a third season, the network announced Tuesday.
An episode count has not been announced — the first season consisted of six episodes; the second, 10 — but Season 3 will premiere in 2015.
"Rectify has evolved into a show much loved by critics and fans," Sundance TV President Sarah Barnett said in a statement. "As SundanceTV's first scripted series, it's gratifying to see such distinctive and unusual storytelling embraced with such passion. [Creator] Ray McKinnonis a true television auteur, and we can't wait to see where he takes us next."
