Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, who's currently in federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut, has decided to spend Thanksgiving alone so her daughters won't have to be at the prison on the holiday, Peoplereports.

Giudice wants Thanksgiving to be as normal as possible for her daughters--14-year-old Gia, 10-year-old Gabriella, 9-year-old Milania and 6-year-old Audriana--so she'll wish them a happy holiday with a phone call as the girls spend the day with their father, Joe, and other family.

Teresa Giudice is writing a tell-all prison memoir

Sounds like a tough time to be sure, but she does have some light at the end of the tunnel: she's scheduled to be released Dec. 23, meaning she'll be home for Christmas. Initially sentenced to 15 months in October 2014, Giudice will remain on house arrest until February 2016, making her total time spent in prison just under 12 months.
